Avendelle at Picardy Point
Our Story

A home built around six people at a time.

Avendelle at Picardy Point began with a simple conviction: care gets better when it gets smaller. Here’s how this house came to be — and what it looks like inside.

Our Story

We built the home we wished he'd had.

When my father was living with dementia, our family searched everywhere for the kind of care he deserved — somewhere quiet, familiar, and small enough to actually know him. We couldn't find it.

So we built it. Picardy Point is a real home on a real street, with just six residents, warm meals around one table, and caregivers who show up because this work is a calling — not a shift.

"Six residents, not sixty. Every family who walks through this door will be treated the way I wish someone had treated ours."
